RK Ranjan interacts with locals

IMPHAL, Sep 14: Paradise Club, Wangkhei, Imphal East felicitated Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency MP Dr RK Ranjan Singh and held a public interaction programme at the premises of the club Saturday.
Interacting with the locals at the event, Dr RK Ranjan expressed that he is blessed to have elected as a representative of the people. Instead of referring the two Constituencies as Outer and Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, Dr Ranjan said the two should be designated as Constituency 1 & 2 to shed differences and bring unity among the people of the State.
Inviting suggestions to better represent the people, Dr RK Ranjan emphasised that youth and women empowerment hold the future of the State and Nation as a whole. Empowered youth are the future and Government is working towards this end, he said.
'Trust deficit' and general 'perception of truth based on assumptions' are some of the 'diseases' that are driving the general population of the State backward, Dr Ranjan said hinting that people nowadays are driven by majority rather than truth.
"It is sad that we do not trust or encourage our own people. We must shed this trust deficit among ourselves and between communities. We must expose ourselves to the outside world and work together as one for overall development of the State," said Dr Ranjan.
Talking about value based education, Dr Ranjan expressed that students and youth should use their knowledge and skills to contribute towards society.
Paradise Club president retired Lt Col Dr Tensubam Hemo Singh and local elders attended the event.
