Bala, Pramodini star as Manipur romp in Sr Women NFC

IMPHAL, Sep 15 : Ng Bala and S Pramodini scored two goals each to help Manipur romp past Tripura by 6-0 goals in a Group G fixture of the ongoing 25th Senior Women's National Football Championship organised in Arunachal Pradesh under the aegis of All India Football Federation and extended the winning run today.
H Daya Devi opened up the scoring in the 10th minute of the match before Ng Bala who hit thrice in the earlier fixture against West Bengal, fired in her first goal of the match to make it 2-0 for Manipur till the break.
The onslaught continued after the restart as well, as Tripura women's were hardly resisting and it was Linthoingambi who scored the team's third in the 47th minute. Ng Bala rose once again to complete her double in the 59th minute of the match while S Pramodini took the honour to score the remaining goals, first in the 68th minute and the other during the stoppage time and completed the 6-0 rout of Tripura.
Manipur will meet Rajasthan in the last Group league match on September 18.
