Mega Manipur students fetch 3 gold medals at CBSE Shooting Competition

Three students of Mega Manipur School were able to clinch a gold medal each along with the best player trophies in the CBSE East Zone and Far East Zone Rifle and Pistol Shooting Competition 2019-20 held recently at Saphire International School, Ranchi, Jharkhand from September 7 to 11.
A press release of the School mentioned that Phurailatpam Rahul Sharma won a gold medal scoring 355 points in the U-14 boys' 10 m Air Pistol event along with the best player trophy while Nongmaithem Jubaraj Singh shot 384 points in the 10 m Air Rifle events for the same age group to win another gold medal for the school.
Jubaraj also bagged the best player title in this event. Sylvia Loukrakpam on the other hand earned Mega Manipur the third gold medal and best player tag in the 10 m Air Pistol event for U-17 girls with a total score of 365 points, the release continued.
The school team also finished runners up and helped Manipur open its medal account at the CBSE shooting competition, it added.
