National Lok Adalat held at Jiribam

Jiribam, Sep 15: With the aim to settle various pending cases before the Court as well as pre-litigation matters, National Lok Adalat was held yesterday at Jiribam Court Complex.
The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Court of Civil Judge (Jr Divn)/ Judicial Magistrate First Class sponsored by the Manipur State Legal Service Authority (MASLSA), High Court of Manipur and District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Imphal East.
The Lok Adalat was chaired by Shubham Vashist (Civil Judge JrDivn./ Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jiribam) and two members namely S Gopendra (Ld Assistant Public Prosecutor/ Assistant Government Advocate, Jiribam Court) and Advocate I Inaobi (LAC, Legal Aid Counsel, Jiribam Court).
In the said National Lok Adalat held yesterday, 22 cases were put up and 8 were settled with total amount of Rs 1,98,788.
