Mass rally held at Chandel

Chandel, Sep 16:  With an objective to sensitize the public about the different schemes launched by  Government, District Administration Chandel has organised a joint mass  rally in collaboration with PHED, SDO, CMO and Social Welfare Department, today.
The rally participated by DLOs, social workers, and officials of different departments, was flagged off by  Sub-Divisional Officer, Chandel, Loitongbam Leander Singh from Mini Stadium Chandel and culminated at DC Office, Chandel.
While receiving the participants of the  rally, Chandel's Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar reiterated the objectives of the schemes like Ayushman Bharat Pakhwara, Poshan Maah, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Swachhata Hi Seva introduced by the Government.
The DC also maintained that a one stop centre for women had  been opened at Chandel to provide shelter, food, medical aid etc to  deprived women.
SDO, Loitongbam Leander Singh; CMO,Chandel, Dr Serthani Sebum;  SBP,Chandel Dearson Morong Tontang and EE, PHED,Chandel Seigoulen Lhundim also spoke about the schemes during the programme.
