Selected for AMP National Award for Excellence in Education

Imphal, Sep 16:  Dr Hamidur Rahaman has been selected for AMP National Award for Excellence in Education 2019, said a statement issued by Manipuri Muslim Online Forum (MMOF).
It said that the name of Dr Hamidur Rahaman was nominated by MMOF and Association of Muslims of Professional (AMP) after conducting a joint survey to identify 'Excellent teacher' from Manipur.
Dr Hamidur Rahaman is now serving as Assistant Professor in Dept of Biotechnology, MU and hailed from Thoubal Moijing Meena Bazar in Thoubal district, informed the statement.
It further mentioned that Dr Hamidur Rahaman had completed PhD in Bioscience from Jamia Millia Islamia in the year 2003-08 and pursued Postdoctoral Research at Umea University, Sweden in 2009 and later completed Postdoctoral Research at IEFEM, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Philadelphia , USA from 2010-12.
