More than 320 acres of agricultural land are affected by scanty rains at Purum Lainingkhul area, Chandel, said a statement of Lainingkhul Area Farmers Club Chandel District today. District Agriculture Office Chandel and Krishi Vigyan Kendra Chandel have provided a few alternative crops seeds for cultivation, but there are still acres of empty fields, it said urging Government to provide suitable crops seeds for cultivation.
