Discussion on skill implementation in Kiphire district, Nagaland

DIMAPUR, Sep 3 : Senior officers from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship visited 'Aspirational Kiphire district' on September 2 and held a meeting  with the district  officers headed by Deputy commissioner, tribal leaders, NGOs ,students and other state level officers at DC conference hall, Kiphire to discuss and address the challenges faced by Kiphire district of Nagaland in implementing skill programme. Secretary MSDE, Dr. K.P. Krishnan, IAS and his team highlighted the importance of skill development at grassroot level and assured full-fledged support in building a better Kiphire district in general, he also highlighted the upcoming ITI institution at Kiphire which is to be established very soon.
Krishnan urged the people of Kiphire to support the government and work with district administrators in building a better district in various schemes, job mela, additional funding to be sanctioned as per the requirement. The team will have interactions with aspirational volunteers, students, GBs, tribal leaders in imparting training on skill development, ITIs etc.
He handed over the sanctioned order to State Mission Director, Sanjay Kumar. Earlier SDO(C) Kiphire, Nyempo Wallim chaired the meeting and Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, M. Shayung Phom gave the welcome address and vote of thanks.
