Eastern Brace FC, Unapal FC register win in 7-Men Soccer tourney

IMPHAL, Sep 9: Eastern Brace FC and Unapal FC emerged victorious on penalties in today's matches of the ongoing 18th 7-Men Soccer tournament organised by Meipou Soccer Youth Development Organisation (MSYDO), Laiching Maipou at its playground.
In the first match of the day, Eastern Brace FC thumped Meipou Village Authority by 2-1 goals via tiebreaker following a goalless draw during the regulation time.
James Marim and Neipura scored for Eastern Brace FC in the shoot-out while only Konai found the net for the losing side.
Interestingly, the second match of the day was also decided via tie breaker, in which Unapal FC defeated Kamu FC by 3-1 goals.
Stelen, Nisualal and Chomrel skilfully outplayed the KAMU FC's keeper in the penalty shoot-out to ensure the win for  Unapal FC . Methew was the only scorer for Kamu FC in the shoot-out.
