N Biseshori settles for silver in KIYG-Cycling

IMPHAL, Jan 15 : After State cyclists have bagged 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal on Tuesday at the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games, one more silver medal was added to State's tally today by N Biseshori in the same discipline.
N Biseshori Chanu won the silver medal in the U-17 girls 2 km individual pursuit where she finished second with a time of 2:57.293.
Yesterday, Elangbam Lanchenba Singh (10 km scratch race for U-21 boys) and Birjit Yumnam (7.5 km scratch race for U-17 boys) had won gold medals for Manipur before Birjit Yumnam , Khwarakpam Rahul and Konthoujam Bishan clinched the third gold medal in the 3 lap team sprint event for U-17 boys.
Khwairakpam Rahul (U-17 boys 500 m time trial) and N Biseshori Chanu (5 km scratch race for U-17 girls) won silver medals in the individual events while Kh Prena and H Premika won another silver medal in the 2 lap team sprint event for U-17 girls.
Kh Prena Devi also won a bronze medal in the 500 m time trial for U-17 girls.
