Cricket: PCC, KCDO emerge victorious

IMPHAL, Jan 16: PCC Mayaikoibi beat TRAU Kwakeithel by 21 runs while KCDO Kongpal thumped ESU Wangkhei by 93 runs in today's matches of the 2nd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Singh Memorial Trophy 2020.
In the match between PCC and TRAU played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground, PCC won the toss and chose to bat first. PCC scored 102 runs with all wickets down in 25.5 overs. TRAU scored 81 with all wickets down in 24.5 overs and fell short by 21 runs. Lucky of PCC was adjudged the man of the match for downing six wickets.
The match between KCDO and ESU was played at Model Higher Secondary & Oriental College Ground. KCDO batted first and scored 152 runs with all wickets down in 26.2 overs while ESU fell short of their target and scored only 59 with all wickets down. K Ringku Singh of KCDO was adjudged the  man of the match.
