IW Dist Carrom Tournament: S Rolish wins sub-jr boys title as Ronald Saikhom clinches jr title

IMPHAL, Jan 17 : S Rolish bagged the sub-junior boys title at the 5th Imphal West District Carrom Tournament 2019-20 being organised by Imphal West District Carrom Association at Uripok Huidrom Leikai since January 15.
S Rolish won the sub-junior boys' title today with a 18-11, 11-9 win against M Renan in the final.
L Sitalbir Singh on the other hand earned the third place by beating L Prince 21-0, 20-0. Sub-Junior girls' title went to Singthangambi who overcame M Arina 6-4, 16-2, 15-7 in the final match today while in the third place clash, S Chinglembi beat Serry Laishram 14-7, 18-4.
In the junior boys' final staged latter, Ronald Saikhom downed Hero Irengbam 21-12, 19-7 to become champion while M Ranan finished third.
M Arina who finished runners up in the sub-junior girls event better herself and secured a 16-1, 21-4 win against Sinthangambi to claim the junior girls title.
T Mamata sealed the third place of the event with a convincing 21-0, 19-3 win against S Chinglembi.
