Ward No 13, 8, 1, 12 win in 16th KIWT 2020

KANGPOKPI, Jan 18: Ward No 13 and Ward No 8 in the main category and Ward No 1 and Ward No 12  in the veteran category, won their respective matches of the 16th Kanggui Inter Ward Tournament 2020 today at Brig M Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi.
In the first ground of the main category, Ward No 13 had a narrow 1-0 win against Ward No 12 with a goal from Lamgou in the 10th minute while Ward No 8 smashed Ward No 2(B) 7-0 in the third match. Kamginhao found the opener for Ward No 8 in the 7th minute followed by Songpu's 6 goals in the 10th, 12th, 20th, 34th, 49th and 53rd minute.
In the veteran category, Ward No 1 had a narrow 1-0 win against Ward No 13 through Paokai's goal in the 17th minute while Ward No 12 earned a 2-0 win against Ward No 14 in the fourth match through Thangtinlen's double in the 30th and 54th minute.
Monday matches: Ward No 4 vs Ward No 10, Ward No  2 (A) vs Ward No 7 and Ward No 1 vs Ward No 13.
Yesterday, Ward No 16 beat Ward No  5&6: 2-0; Ward No 3 beat Ward No 1: 3-1 and Ward No 9 beat Ward No 4: 3-0
