MPSC win E Pishak Memorial Volleyball title

IMPHAL, Jan 20 : Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) were crowned the champions of the 2nd Elangbam Pishak Singh Memorial State Level Men's Open Volleyball Tournament 2020 organised by Sekmaijin Thongam Development Association at its playground under the supervision of All Manipur Volleyball Association.
MPSC which went down to YPA, Hiyanglam Hiranmei by a narrow margin made their way back from the second set onwards to seal the game 24-26, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23 and deservingly earn the winners trophy and a cash prize of Rs 60,000.
YPA on the other hand got a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 30,000 as best setter of the tournament, Indrajit Sanasam of YPA and best player, Robinson Gangmei of MPSC bagged a cash prize of Rs 2,000 each along with trophies. Altogether 7 teams took part in this volleyball tournament.
