Manipur bag 11 medals at Yogasana Nationals

IMPHAL, Jan 20
Yogis from Manipur including mentally challenged individuals from BB Paul Mental Development Home have earned 11 medals at the National Yogasana Championship 2020 which was held at Mirzapur, UP from January 12 to 14.
Yogis of various age groups and belonging to mentally challenged  category who brought home 3 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals from the said championship as per a press release of Yoga Physique Institute and Studies, Manipur are as follows.
Gold medal winners : M Hemanta Singh (35 to 50 years), M Bijoy Singh (50 +), Th Bodo Singh (Mentally Challenged).
Silver medal winners : U Mangal Singh ( upto 8 yr), M Mamtaj (50+), Monika Y (Mentally Challenged) and L Roshan (Mentally Challenged).
Bronze medal winners : Y Thasana Devi (upto 8 yrs), P Kamala Devi (13 to 18 years), L Bena Devi (Mentally Challenged) and RK Bikendrajit (Mentally Challenged).
12 others also earned the 4th, 5th and 6 places in their respective categories, the release said.
