KSA terms transfer of Commissioner, Director inappropriate

IMPHAL, Jan 21 : Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has condemned the transfer of both the Commissioner and the Director of Department of Higher and Technical Education Manipur.
Maintaining that the transfer orders of both the post have been served at an inappropriate time, which will hinder any ongoing or present welfare programmes for students and teachers, KSA has questioned why the State Government has failed to intervene into the matter. KSA, in a statement, has urged the State Government and the authority concerned to revoke the transfer order till the end of the financial year.
The transfer of the Commissioner who is also the VC of DMU will only hamper any education policy and programmes, it said while adding that KSA will not accept the unreasonable transfer.
