UADC resents

Ukhrul, Jan 22: Ukhrul Autonomous District Council (UADC) expressed strong resentment over the change of NFSA release order from Ukhrul to Sangaiprou FCI, Imphal.
In this regard, a press conference was held today at the resident of Ukhrul ADC Chairman, Dr Yaronsho Ngalung, in which the Chairman said that the Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul issued an order in respect of 44-AC to change the release order no 400 & 430 for transportation of NFSA rice from FCI depot, Ukhrul to FCI depot Sangaiprou, Imphal.
Dr Yaronsho also mentioned that incorrect information was found in the release order.
FPS agents of Ukhrul would face several inconveniences in the transportation of rice from Imphal, he added.
Vice-Chairman, M Isaac and ADC member Thangchipem Jagoi also expressed their concern and said that the order is not acceptable.
