Poppy plants destroyed

IMPHAL, Jan 22: A joint team of NAB, NCB and Chandel Police destroyed about 46 acres of poppy plantation at Lhangpikot hill range under Chakpikarong PS, Chandel district today.
The team was led by ASP/NAB Saklemba RK and DSP Chandel Bimonchandra.
An FIR has been filed at Chakpikarong PS, said police.
