AIZAWL, Oct 13: The Mizoram government will sponsor students from the state to appear in Indian civil services and other central services. The sponsorship will come in the form of providing expenses of coaching.
This decision was taken during a meeting of the Education department, Labour, Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship department, Planning and Finance department and the Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC). The meeting was chaired by chief minister Zoramthanga on Tuesday.
According to an official source, the state government of Mizoram will work with reputed coaching centres so that civil service aspirants from the state can avail the facilities.
