Six finalists enter grand finale of Masotkhon Solo Hunt

IMPHAL, Oct 27: The grand finale of Masotkhon Solo Hunt for best singing was attended by IGP IK Muivah as chief guest at ZBM restaurant at Sangakfam, Imphal today.
The function was compered by Miss Manipur 2019 AR Mathing and attended by talented gospel singer Yursari Ngalung among others.
After three selection rounds conducted online, the six finalists were Angeli Shokchui, Kumyaowon Kapai, Lemmet Raikhan, Shanring Zingkhai, Thingrik Ruivah and Thotdharso Kasar.
Their songs will undergo voting besides being assessed by two expert judges. The contest is hosted by The Voice of Tehillah.
IGP IK Muivah said that the various songs uploaded on social media during this pandemic period shows the large pool of talents among the youths.
He stressed on the need for composing new gospel songs besides singing the hymnals and gospels with light instrumentals in a fresh way bringing out the beauty of the lyrics and reawakening the positive spiritual aspect during this time of Covid.
