M Minakshi Devi
Round the clock, she fears of brutal inevitable.
She fears of lacerated body, she fears the looming debauchers.
She fears to board a bus, fears to board with locals.
She fears the heavy footsteps on the ground that follows.
She fears the sitch of every eve tease.
She fears to venture out alone in the streets.
She fears the pride of toxic masculinity, fears the street wolves.
She fears being inappropriately touched.
She fears standing infront of a man on the escalator.
She fears them all,she fears them all !
She hunts for a site where she could be shielded,
Shielded from massacre of souls, wrought of demolishing a lass.

Her eyes in tempestuous search for the fluorescent light,
Where there is no gluttony and lust for flesh.
She ask, does molestation has its domain end ?
A brawny impulse gushes until goosebumps,
To live under the unbruished sky,
Where she relish her prerogative.
She contemplates to live ache free in a world of molestation unattempted.
