WUM conducts cleanliness drive at RIMS road

IMPHAL, Oct 30 : A cleanliness drive was held  at RIMS road by WUM under the theme "Your Waste, Your  Responsibility"under the  initiative of both  IMC and MUDA at around 7 am today.
The president of WUM led from the front with 20 volunteers participating in the said event.
Th Puthiba Meitei, media coordinator of WUM, mentioned that with the upcoming festivals in the State and the need for both cleanliness and proper disposal of garbage in IMC areas compelled them to organise this event from October 23 to October 31.
He also appealed to each family to properly manage and dispose their own waste so that it doesn't become a nuisance for others and create problems for society.
