Noney Bn AR distributes sport items

IMPHAL, Oct 5
Noney Battalion Assam Rifles today distributed sport items to Thanggal village in Noney district to boost up sports facilities for talented youths in the village.
The items were distributed under "Assam Rifles Civic Action  Project 2020-21" with an aim to foster sporting spirit amongst youths in remote locations, who do not have adequate sporting equipment, a statement of AR said.  
AR officials of the Bn also interacted with the members of the Village Community, Youth Organisation and discussed the importance of games and sports  for overall development of youths, it said while continuing that the villagers also expressed profound gratitude to the Noney Battalion for reaching out to them.
