Amur Falcons sighted at Senapati

IMPHAL, Nov 9: Flock of Amur Falcons were sighted at different places of Senapati district, today.
Reportedly, the radio transmitter tagged Amur Falcons, Chiulon has reached Pherzawl district, bordering Mizoram while Irang is at Bangladesh border.According to the district administration, Senapati, necessary measures will be taken up to protect the migratory birds during its sojourn at the district.
It is also reported that awareness programmes are being carried out in different parts of Kamjong district to protect Amur Falcon.
