COVID-19 Awareness cum Enforcement Committee meeting for 47 Karong AC held at Senapati

SENAPATI, Nov 11 :The first meeting of the Local Covid Awareness cum Enforcement Committee (LCC) of  47 Karong Assembly Constituency was held today at DC Conference hall, Senapati.
It was attended by DC Senapati, SP Senapati, ADM Senapati and all the members of the Committee.
The meeting was chaired by the  MLA of 47 Karong AC, who is also the Chairman of the Committee.
The Deputy Commissioner, Senapati highlighted the past and present activities related to Covid-19 SOPs and guidelines in the district.
The DC also called for the members present to give their suggestions as to how the committee should go about with the tasks assigned by the Government.
The meeting came up with the establishment of LCC for  47 Karong AC; a one day awareness meeting to be conducted shortly wherein, all the village authority, chairman and secretary, youth and students, and women society of every village to be called at the District HQ, Senapati.
The villages/polling stations falling under Saikul sub-division of Kangpokpi district will be under the MLA of Karong AC to ensure Covid appropriate behaviour. Video clips to be produced in local dialects and circulated through various mass media.
Appropriate banners and pamphlets to be printed and posted in every village falling under 47 Karong AC.
The expenditure to be borne by the Karong AC MLA.
A Whatsapp group wherein one representative each from village authorities , youth and women societies shall be included.
Information related to Covid awareness with all the important SOPs and guidelines shall be announced through AIR Programme both in Poumai Naga and Mao dialects, announcement in all the Churches, and through loudspeakers.
