CCpur reaches out to Children Homes on Children's Day

CCpur, Nov 14 :Joining the rest of the country in Children’s Day celebration, the Churachandpur district administration in collaboration with the District Child Protection Office (DCPO), Social Welfare Department has reached out to Children Homes of the district today.
The District Child Protection Unit, Department of Social Welfare; ZEO Office, Churachandpur ; Churachandpur police; Childline Churachandpur 1098 jointly distributed edible and sports items to the inmates of the Homes under the aegis of District Child Protection Officer with the support of the district administration.
The items were distributed to inmates of Open Shelter for Boys, Torbung Bangla; Observation Home (Boys), Molnom Ramthar Road; Destitute Children Home (Girls), SA Road, CCpur; Destitute Children Home (Boys), Thingkangphai, CCpur and Chacha Nehru Bal Bhavan (girls), Mata Village, Ccpur under the supervision of Shri Pawan Yadav, DC Churachandpur.
The team today included Additional Superintendent of Police (IUCAW) Hasby Haokip, MPS; AC to DC S Khaikhopau Ngaihte; Sub Divisional Officer  Churachandpur Ginmuan Ngaihte; Zonal Education Officer (ZEO)  Churachandpur N Chingkhei;  District Social Welfare Officer, District Child Protection Officer, Childline representatives amongst others.
