Manipur amass 6 medals at NSG Fencing

IMPHAL, Feb 17 : State fencers have amassed 6 medals including 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals till third day of the 65th National School Games Fencing hosted by Gujarat in Nadiad under the aegis of School Games Federation of India from February 15.
The day saw Manipur's team consisting of Hemash, K Abhinash, Kh Rajiv and S Pappu win a gold medal in the foil event after beating Haryana 15-9. Latter A Thomba, Tondonsana N, P Bishesh and W Yohenba were able to earn Manipur another gold medal in the epee event. S Nelcyrose also added a gold medal to Manipur's tally by finishing first in the girls' individual epee event before A  Thomba and P Bishesh won a gold and a silver medal respectively in the boys' individual epee event. Mexi Th also won Manipur a silver medal in the boys' individual sabre event.
