Draws the order of the day at Chandel Second Divn League

IMPHAL, Feb 18 : The second day of the ADC Chandel Trophy Second Division Football League saw both matches at Liwa Sarei Football Ground end in draws.
The first Group C league match of the tournament between Japhou YC and Cheengkhu YC ended in a 2-2 draw as the former team staged a comeback in the second half.
Cheengkhu Youth Club started strongly and took a 2-0 lead through Kankhu (15') and Bendson (19') goals but Augustin reduced the gap for Japhou YC in the 42nd minute before Ningbung scored the equaliser in the 61st minute.
Meanwhile in the second match which was the Group D opener, Henry scored in 80th minute to help Monsang Pantha YCC salvage a 1-1 draw with Panchai SCC after Larhring broke the deadlock and earned the lead in the 51st minute for the latter team.
Penaching YDC will play Kankhu Athletic Football Club in the second Group A league match tomorrow at 11 am before Modi CDC face off with Paraolon YC in the second Group B league match latter at 2 pm.
