Stage set for semi-finals of Mini Boys Volleyball tourney

IMPHAL, Feb 19 : The semi-finals line up of the 2nd State Level Mini Boys Volleyball Tournament being held at Wangoo Laipham Heinouyam Primary School playground, was completed today with the end of the league stage.
Group A winners TRYVC, Ukhrul will play Group B runners up YMDO, Heirangoithong in the first semi-final match tomorrow at 7 am while Group B winners, NYVA, Naorem will play, Group A runners up USDC, Upokpi latter in the second semi-final match.
In a Group B league match staged today, SDC, Samurou got the better of KLLK, Mayang Imphal 21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-19 but went down 16-25, 18-25, 23-25 to YMDO, Heirangoithong in another league match.
NYVA on the other hand, earned a comfortable 5-17, 25-12, 25-13 win against KLLK to ensure top place in the league table. Meanwhile, USDC earned the last 4 berth with a 20-25, 25-20, 5-17, 25-15 comeback win against YUC, Arong Khunjao as both KYLSC and TWYC teams did not turn up for another league stage match.
