KYVO win CRPF inter village football tourney

IMPHAL, Feb 20
Promoting football among children and youth, 32 Bn, CRPF Loktak organized Inter Village U-19 Football Tournament-2020 for villages of  Bishnupur & Churachandpur district under the CRPF Unit area of responsibility from February 17 to 20.
The tournament was organised as part of its  Civic Action Programme-2020 at 32 Bn CRPF Football Ground Loktak, NHPC under the aegis of Manipur & Nagaland Sector of CRPF, said a statement of Narendra Singh, Commandant-32 Bn CRPF NHPC Loktak, Churachandpur today.
Four teams from Bishnupur district and another four teams from Churachandpur district participated in the tournament.
Played on knockout basis, the final match saw KYVO Kwaksiphai beat AMOFA Academy, Moirang to lift the trophy, said CRPF.
Narendra Singh, Commandant- 32 Bn CRPF Loktak graced the opening & closing ceremony of the tournament as the chief guest, added CRPF.
