Introduction
The institution (Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vidyalaya) was founded in 1936 in Karachi (now in Pakistan) when Dada Lekhraj, a wealthy jeweller, was chosen by God as the corporeal medium to convey to the world His Knowledge for the uplift mert of humanity steeped in gross ignorance, misery and moral degradation. Inspired by divine visions and subsequent revelations, he surrendered his mind, body and wealth and dedicated the remaining 33 expired on 18/01/1969) years of his pious life to this sacred task. The Supreme Soul renamed Dada Lekhraj as Prajapita Brahma. He became an instrument of God in delineating fundamental principles necessary to restore Peace, Purity and Prosperity in the world. In 1950, the institutions world HQ shifted from Karachi (Pakhistan) to Mount Abu, Rajasthan (India).
Shivratri or Shivjayanti is Celebrated in Bharat (India) since the Dwapur Yuga (Copper Age). On this occasion devotees offered Bhang, opium, Datura flower, etc, to God Shiv in addition to this the devotee took Bhang, opium in the name of in toxication by Shankar (Devata). It has became a custom, so nobody objected the tradition of taking Bhang, opium etc resulting addiction to these Drugs. Shivratri according to Brahma Kumaris Shivratri implies that incorporate God Father Shiv incarnates into the corporate human world at such a time of human history, when the night of Utter Darkness prevails. The word “Ratri” does not have connote the Darkness that falls after sunset, but it signifies the darkness of extreme ignorance and unrighteous in the world.
Ratri is associated with Shiva because he come in night of total ignorance. When the world was in night, Souls became impure under the influence of 5 Vice viz Kam (Lust), Krodh  (Anger), Lova (Greed), Moha (Attachment) and Ahungkar (ego). When the true religion of purity and peace, the spiritual self identity was forgotten. In such time only God Father Shiva came to weaken us an established the  Dharma (Religion) of peace with World.
Shiva Jayanti
God Father Shiva, the creator of Trimurti (creation of righteous world through Brahma sustenance of righteous world through Vishnu and destruction of Old vicious world through Shankar) has come to meet his worthy of worship, Saligrams  (Brahmin Children).
Difference between Shiva and  Shankar
Shiva is Dweller of Supreme abode, Auspicious, incorporeal on Non- Athropomorphic  (Creator) whereas Shankar is Dweller of subtle world, destructive, Diety with subtle body (Creation).
Bap-Dada
Bap-Dada (Father Shiva and Brahma Dada) is Celebrating the Birth day (Jayanti) of the Brahmin Children and the Brahmins are also Celebrating Bap-Dada’s Birth Day (Jayanti). It is called Shiva Jayanti but this is such a Jayanti that many other Jayantis are merged in this one Jayanti. The Father has come to give Greetings to Brahmin Children because for the Father Shiva and the Brahmin Children are to have a
Birthday on the same day. That is a sign of deep Love. The task of world transformation is done together because Father Shiva neither can do it Alone. As such Father and his Children will live together and will return home together. This is why this Sangom Yuga (Confluence Age) is important and the memorial of this Festival is created in many “Melas” (religious fairs).
The Vow
Bap-Dada sees that those who are true devotees. They keep a fast on Shiva Jayanti Day with a Lot of Love. Bap-Dada asked his Brahmin Children have you taken a Vow to fast that lasts eternally for 21 (Twenty One) Births?
Bap-Dada further asked his Brahmin children “Have you taken a Vow to fast from the one great evil Spirit-Lust?” or “Have you take a Vow to fast from other 4 (Four) (Anger, Greed, attachment and ego) too?”
Cake Cutting
What is done on a Birthday? Firstly, a Cake is cut. On the day of Shiva Jayanti, a Cake is cut. Thus, Cake Cutting is different from Bhakti Marg Birth Day Cake cutting. On the day of Shiva Jayanti Celebration Cake cutting is cutting a way of the Cake of waste thoughts.
Face equal to Father
Bap-Dada wishes to see gathering of Brahmin Family to have a face that is equal to the Father Shiva. It is not a big deal, but the power to tolerate and the power to accommodate are required those who have these two powers. – the power to tolerate and the power to accommodate can easily become free from anger.
Bap-Dada said to his Brahmin Children that simply remember one Slogan, That is all. If you want to become equal in just one month, then remember one Slogan it is a promise. “Do not give sorrow, do not take sorrow”.
Contentment
Bap-Dada want his Brahmin Children from everywhere should have courage and determination and become embodiments of success and announce to the world. That is no lust or anger, we are the Children of God.
Give time to others
Bap-dada says “First of all, Grant liberation to the self, then give a drop of Liberation to all Souls of the World”.
Flag Hosting
The Flag is hosted to serve all the people, but the Flag of the Father’s revelation is hoisted in the Hearts of all Brahmin Children and it will constantly  be  flying high.
