MPSC vs AMOFA in 13th Jiri Cup final

IMPHAL, Feb 21: MPSC will lock horns with AMOFA, Moirang in the final showdown of the 13th Jiribam Cup Invitation Football Tournament 2020 on February 24.
MPSC on Friday knocked out FC Lamjao 5-1 at Jiribam Higher Secondary School Ground to earn the final berth.
Wisubou and Kiran of MPSC stole today's show as both scored brace to ensure their team comfortable semi final win.
FC Lamjao had to reel under pressure early on as MPSC dominated the game right from the onset. MPSC took 25 minutes to open the account with Wisubou finding the breakthrough  before completing his brace in the 33rd minute of the game and gave his team a 2-0 lead against FC Lamjao.
With FC Lamjao breaking their rhythm to find equalizers, the latter game proved fatal for the team as they ended up conceding more goals in the second half. MPSC emerged stronger as the game wore on with Kiran putting two goals back to back in the 56th and 68th minutes, after Chngthangkhomba netted his lone in the 52nd minute to make it 5-0.
Merely minutes away from the end, FC Lamjao grabbed a consolation goal in the 87th minute via A Ango and made it 1-5 at the end.
