'History of Rohin-Wanglar Lineage' released

Chandel, Feb 22: A book entitled "History of Rohin-Wanglar Lineage", edited by W Phamward Monsang and  W Somie Monsang was released on Friday at Liwa Khullen Village Community Hall, Chandel district.
Rohin-Wanglar is a clan of Monsang tribe.
Organised by Rohin-Wanglar Development Society (RWDS), the book releasing ceremony was attended by Sirti Upa Ruh (SUR) /Monsang Tribe Union Manipur president Ng Gilbert as Chief Guest; retired Junior MCS, Rebecca Wanglar as guest of honour and Graduate teacher -Education Department, Tomanlei Wanglar as functional president.
RWDS president, R Jacky Thomchou; secretary, Clement Wanglar; convenor, W Anthony; senior member, R Beningam; finance secretary, E Bengam; Monsang Village chiefs; Pastors and other renowned personalities also attended the programme.
Before the book released, the gathering observed a minute silence to pay tribute to the deceased forefathers of the Rohin -Wanglargi and members of RWDS.
A copy of the book was also gifted to the seniormost members of RWDS, Wanglar Belhung (91).
