CADA conducts academic awareness programme

Continuing its drive against drug and alcohol, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) conducted an academic awareness programme at Islamic Baby English School in Lilong Mairenkhun today.
The programme was attended by Islamic Baby English School Principal Alhaj Kabir Ahmed Shah, CADA president Hijam Priyokumar, ASPO advisor Nasir Ahmed, Islamic Baby English School Vice Principal Sapam Dipak Singh and CADA secretary general Geetchandra Mangang as presidium members, said a  statement of CADA.
Geetchandra Mangang spoke on the theme “Impact of drugs and alcohol abuse”, while Nasir Ahmed reiterated the words of Geetchandra and discouraged the students to refrain from trying drugs.
Alhaj Kabir Ahmed Shah also spoke on the event.
He said that fighting drug and alcohol abuse is not the work of CADA alone but the entire society.
