MU bodies thank Prez, MHRD

IMPHAL, Feb 22: Manipur University Teachers' Asso-ciation (MUTA), Manipur University Staff Association (MUSA) and Manipur University Students Union (MUSU) have expressed gratitude to the President of the country and Visitor of Manipur University, the MHRD, the Governor of Manipur, the State Govern-ment and the independent two-member inquiry com-mittee for ensuring dismissal of Professor Adya Prasad Pandey from the post of VC, Manipur University.
The associations also extended gratitude to all the political parties, CSOs, student organisations, Meira Paibis, people (in particular Chongtham Nimai Singh of Nagamapal Singjubung Lei-rak, retired Lecturer of Johnstone Hr Sec School and Hemantakumar Ningombam of Khongman Okram Leikai, then editor of Huiyen Lanpao), advocates and all who extended solidarity to safeguard the sanctity of the university.
