9th Triennial Fellowship of TNBA concludes

Senapati, Feb 23: The 4 day 9th Triennial Fellowship of Thangal Naga Baptist Association (TNBA) concluded at Mayangkhang Baptist Church, today.
The fellowship that started on February 20 last was held under the theme, “Labour together in Christ.”
Attended by around 500 delegates coming from 11 Churches under TNBA, the Triennial Fellowship flag was hoisted by Rev Cheijinba Rakhangmi, executive secretary, TNBA and fellowship hall was dedicated by Anth, Vice president, TNBA on the inaugural day.
Rev Boipu Serto, youth secretary, Manipur Baptist Convention spoke on “Labour together in peace, In perfect harmony and knitted together in Christ” during 3 worship services and Rev P James, executive secretary, Poumai Naga Baptist Association spoke on “Labour together in Christ, Labourers and the field, Labour together for unity and Strengthen together in Christ” for 4 worship services as the main speakers during worship services and the fellowship was hosted by Mayangkhang Baptist Church.
Sunday noon service was held in the presence of L Dikho, PHE Minister, officials from TNBA, Thangal Union representatives, Church leaders and members of Mayangkhang Baptist Church.
Choral singing competitions on the song, “Constantly abiding” was organised during the noon session with participants from 8 Churches including Katomei Makeng Baptist Church, Makeng Cheijinba Baptist Church, Angkailongdi Baptist Church, Mayangkhang Baptist Church, Ningthoupham Baptist Church, Tagaramphung Baptist Church, Nteiramphung Baptist Church and Thangal Surung Baptist Church.
Mayangkhang Baptist Church, Tagaramphung Baptist Church and Makeng Cheijinba Baptist Church bagged first, second and third positions in the competition.
Amu Thaimei, former Choir director, MBC Centre Church, Imphal; Ngaraipam Kashung, secretary, Tangkhul Laasak Long and SL Rangsong, ZEO, Senapati were reportedly the judges for the Choral competition.
Other competitions like choreography and declamation were also taken up during the festival.
