COVID-19: Remaining HSSLC exams postponed

Shillong, Mar 22: Amidst fears of the spread of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Government of Meghalaya has decided to postpone the remaining papers of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations presently being conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE).
Informing on the same, MBOSE Controller of Examination, T R Laloo said on Sunday that the exams have been postponed in keeping with directions issue by the Education Department for the safety and security of the students appearing for the exams until further notice.
Incidentally, the exams were scheduled to be undertaken between March 23 and 25 with Laloo informing that other related exams like spot evaluation have also been postponed.
