Is the earth healing or dying right now?

In the midst of these dark times, little will this article help you in lightening up your day but trust me, I will try to change your mood when you reach the last line. You know what, let me take you all away from corona today. I know you must be all overwhelmed with “Corona and corona.”
Do you still remember your first day at school? Say, class 1. It was hell, my class teacher was holding my leg, and my arms were around my father’s leg. It was just a beautiful sight. Thank God, my mom made me wore underwear that day. If not, my struggle would have brought me shame in the middle of the “tug of war.”
Do you still remember you first crush? I studied in St. Joseph till grade 5 and to Sainik. Options were just ‘teachers or I have to be gay.’ I studied in all boys’ school till grade 12. So, all my crushes were teachers. Sorry but if you are laughing now, you know you are not different from me. We all did, and that’s the beauty of growing up with those crazy far dreams. Isn’t that a beauty? Is that what you cherish when you are alone? Perfection.
Do you still remember your first time getting bullied in school? Man, I still do. When I was new in Sainik, the seniority got on my nerves 24/7. I won’t tell what all happened but those are the best memories left with me now.
Do you still remember the first time you got a job? Party-party. Families calling you up, friend waiting for gifts and match making starts. I know because now my cousin is tight up in that loop.
Do you remember the first time you cheat in exam? Oh I started early. I was just in 8th standard. With the advice from a great friend of mine, I took three cheats in my collar. Never caught but the struggle was something I will never forget.
Do you know that these things are not something like a lifetime award achievement? But something you don’t hang on the wall but in your heart. This is something you will be with till the end. Do you know all of these is alive because you are? Everything that you experienced will go in a blink once you stop breathing. These are not concrete but abstracts, it’s the feeling that you cherish, it doesn’t come back but it’s you who keeps the feeling alive in you. Isn’t this what life is? Keeping small things alive?
Because of what’s going on now in the world, I now understand that life is a very weak possibility. Lives are taken just like that, in a blink the world became silent. If we humans are careless, do you think the world will still be the same? Do you think you will have a memory of playing in a field? Missing the pain coz of getting scratched by the paddy straws in the field? Missing hanging out together? No, the world will be different. You and I will now be more or less have to evolve with the technology, everything will be online. The world’s market will change, everything online, no more socializing. Many definitions will change or evolve, this world will be all different. Funny but you won’t even see notes anymore, the block-chain will take over.
It seems simple but, when was the last time you see a beautiful butterfly? When was the last time you went out of your house and have a deep breath? The world is never the one we knew. Again, I as one of the life forms on earth, what if we are the virus and corona was the anti-virus? Just saying. But seriously, if we are just living in the “YOLO” life, trust me, there will be nothing to remember but just smokes and wars. Stay home, stay away from the anti-virus. Before corona change us completely, let’s change ourselves.
