National Forest Sports Meet: Manipur earn 4 more gold medals

On the 3rd day of the National Forest Sports Meet, 2020 at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Manipur has earned four more gold medals.
In swimming, L Dhananjoy Singh, who had bagged a gold and a bronze earlier, clinched two more gold medals in 50 metres breaststroke and  50 metres butterfly in senior veteran category.
He completed the 50 metres breaststroke in 45 seconds and 50 metres butterfly in 51 seconds.
N Anil Kumar Singh, 38, also clinched a gold medal for Manipur in the 100 metres open category breaststroke. He finished the feat in 1 minute 32 seconds.
Hammer throw: Th Lokendro Singh, MFS, 56, clinched a gold medal in hammer throw, senior veterans category (distance  30.80 metres).
Table tennis: Nongmaithem Anna Devi ensured Manipur a silver medal by defeating her opponent from Uttarakhand 4-0 in the women open category to book final berth.
Football: Manipur lost to defending champions Chattisgarh  3-1. Ratan Singh scored the lone goal for Manipur.
