I League 2019-20: Arrows to witness aggressive play from TRAU : Nandakumar

IMPHAL, Mar 7 : Indian Arrows will be witnessing an aggressive team in TRAU (Tiddim Road Athletic Union) FC, said technical director of TRAU, Nandakumar who is also a AFC-A Licence holder.
The statement was made in a pre-match press meet held today ahead of TRAU's home match against Indian Arrows, at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium on March 8.
Nandakumar while recalling that TRAU had a 2-0 reverse fixture win against the Arrows, maintained that his team will aim to preserve the momentum and earn all full points at home as well. Nandakumar also contended that Indian Arrows are full of energetic and dynamic players and cannot be taken lightly and thus tomorrow's result will be hard to predict.
Expressing his concern, Nandakumar also stated that, TRAU's key player, Phalguni is yet to recover and two valuable defenders, Denechandra and Premjit are in no condition to play for the team. However Nandakumar expressed confident that recent addition of forward Petru Leuca will bolster his team's attacking department. Midfielder, Tanmoy Ghosh also assisted Nandakumar during this press meet.
Indian Arrows head coach Venkatesh Shanmugam, on the other hand stated that tomorrow's result do not matter much. What matters is good performances from the players, he said
Ruivah Hormipam who hails from Somdal, Manipur was also beside Venkatesh during the press meet. On being asked about tomorrow preparedness, the young player maintained that they are fully prepared and will  be giving their best. He also exuded confidence that their performance will surely impress the local fans and draw support regardless of which team finish on top.
