FLAM win K Yaima Memorial Veteran Football tournament title

IMPHAL, Mar 8 : FLAM, Yaiskul earned the top honour of the 8th Koijam Yaima Memorial Veteran Football Tournament 2020 with a 1-0 final victory against UVSA-A, Lilong Chajing today at XI Star Sporting Union ground, Akampat.
The solitary goal that helped FLAM pocket a cash prize of Rs 40,000 was scored by Kh Ratan early in the third minute.
Runners up UVSA-A were feted with Rs 20,00 cash prize as AMBA, Uripok Cheirap Court was adjudged best disciplined team and feted with Rs 5,000.
Best player, L Gunabir of FLAM; best goalkeeper, M Tomchou of KVFA, Kakching and top scorer, K Upen of UVSA-A with 6 goals to his name, were also feted with  cash prize of  Rs 3,000 each.
