Nagaland borders to remain sealed

DIMAPUR, Apr 21: The Government of Nagaland will continue to seal inter-State borders until further orders in view of the COVID-19 issue and the extended lockdown.
According to a consolidated revised lockdown guidelines issued by the Nagaland Chief Secretary, there are a total of 14 administrative sub-divisions and its subordinate administrative circles sharing inter-State borders.
"In all these locations, lockdown conditions will be imposed and only movement of goods vehicles, including those transiting the State, shall be allowed after proper medical screening of the drivers and attendants through designated entry and exit points", the order informed.
However, inter State movement of vehicles and individuals will not be allowed in Bhandari sub-division, the order added.  
There are 14 inter-State border areas in Nagaland. They are Dimapur Sadar, Niuland sub division, Dhansiripar sun division, Sietheekema Circle, Jalukie sub division, Bhandari sub division, Mangkolemba sub division, Tuli sub division, Tamlu sub division, Naginimora sub division, Tizit sub division, Pfutsero sub division, Meluri sub division and Jakhama sub division.
A consolidated revised lockdown guidelines issued by the Nagaland Chief Secretary said that the international border of the State with Myanmar shall continue to remain sealed as before.
