COVID-19 Chairman's Relief Fund ADC, Ukhrul launched

Ukhrul, Apr 2: Ukhrul Autonomous District Council ( UADC) today launched a separate   COVID-19 Chairman's Relief Fund ADC, Ukhrul for emergency response of the pandemic outbreak COVID-19 for  Ukhrul district.
Ukhrul, ADC Chairman Dr Yaronsho Ngalung, while speaking at the launching function, expressed that all ADC members of Ukhrul district have donated their one-month honorarium for the relief fund.
He appealed all the Council staffs of Ukhrul district to contribute too for the welfare of the public.
The Chairman, while distributing masks, gloves, hand sanitizers and chemical disinfectants to the sanitary labourers and staff, expressed gratitude to all the three MLAs of Ukhrul district for arranging and donating the items to Council office from their ends. Yaronsho further mentioned that the collected relief fund would be utilized to fight against COVID-19 in the district.
While the CEO, Ukhrul Polly Makan expressed the Ukhrul ADC staff will render their best services and response to any emergency until COVID- 19 is contained.
The launching programme was also attended by Ukhrul ADC Vice-Chairman Isaac, EMs, Councillors and other staffers.
