AHTA lauds local MLA

Ukhrul, Apr 2: All Hunphun Tangs Association (AHTA) chairman Chonmi Raleng lauded MLA Alfred Arthur Kanngam for his humanitarian services for all the people living in and around Ukhrul Town.
Chonmi Raleng informed that with the initiative of the MLA potable water were provided in every doorstep across the town amid the lockdown period to avoid public rushing for water.
This is to ensure the everyone stays at home and avoid physical contact to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
He said that the MLA himself is stationed in Ukhrul to monitor the situation arising out of the lockdown in the district.
So far no reports of COVID- 19 has been reported from Ukhrul, however, four persons are kept under quarantine in the district hospital, Ukhrul.
