Preventive measures continue at Senapati

Senapati, Apr 3: Maram Students Union (MKS) in collaboration with District Administration, District police and 34 Assam Rifles installed handwashing points in Maram public areas.
Water tanks donated by 34 AR were installed at town areas. The student's body also collaborated with the Senapati Police, Fire Brigade and village authorities in spraying disinfectants in Maram areas between Lairouching to Maram Bazar. Last week, the Maram Bazar Youth and Student's also installed a handwashing facility at the Maram Bazar waiting shed. Given the ever-increasing cases of coronavirus/COVID-19 globally and Manipur Government's continuous efforts to keep the virus cases at bay, Senapati District has been working continuously to prevent the disease caused by a novel coronavirus from spreading.
According to Senapati Town Committee president, A John, PHE Minister Losii Dikho donated several bags of bleaching powder, mask, gloves and other items.
Keeping up the precautionary measures in best level possible, apart from the everyday screening of passengers at Mao Gate by the medical team and police, the exercise of spraying disinfectants in different places of the town areas of the district was carried out by District Administration with strong support from district police, Fire Brigade, Civil bodies, Town Committee.
