Disinfected

Volunteers of Thongju Chigonglei Makhong Development Club (TCMDC) and Chaokhat Khongthang Club (CKC) Tela Naorem Leikai, disinfected the areas falling under the two clubs with Sodium Hypochlorite solution today in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The clubs also thanked the people who donated or voluntarily helped the clubs in the initiative.
As a part of the ongoing 6 day sanitation campaign in Khangabok AC, various places of Lamding village were disinfected and sanitised today under the aegis of social worker Kh Menjor.
Locals of Lamding village and volunteers of EEYOK, Khangabok conducted the sanitation drive by spraying out disinfectants as a preventive measure against COVID-19. Such initiative was praised by the residents of the Lamding village.
Apart from the sanitation campaign, Kh Menjor also extended financial aid to Social and Cultural Association (SACA), Lamding which is distributing essential items to its locality during the lockdown owing to the new disease.
Streets and corners under Yairipok Municipal Council Ward No 6 were also disinfected with bleaching powder and phenyl today in the wake of COVID-19. The sanitation programme was conducted under the aegis of Councillor Mk Abdul Khalique and Council Members Md Salatur Rahaman and Md Zahiya in association with Bamon Leikai Imortal Club. Disinfection drive was also taken out at the surrounding areas and interior of District Hospital, Jiribam.
