Rongmei organisations laud N Biren

IMPHAL, Apr 4: The Rongmei Phwam Delhi (RPD) and Rongmei Chamnac Phwam Delhi ( RCPD) have lauded Chief Minister N Biren Singh for his "prompt decision to distribute 4 kg of free rice per person irrespective of the persons holding ration cards or not from the NFSA quota of April 2020".
The RPD and RCPD also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ensuring additional free rice of 5 kg per person  " for three months from April.
"This rice is given as additional from the existing monthly rice quota of each state," said the two Rongmei organisations.
The RPD and RCPD then appealed to the Government, contractors, agents, and others to distribute the rice free and fair to the poor and needy at this time of lockdown in the spirit of humanity.
The two organisations also said that no poor family should be left out from availing such benefit.
"Everyone should rise above petty party politics and fight COVID-19 in the true spirit of love and care," they added. The RPD and RCPD also appealed to one and all not to disturb the process of distribution.
Let the distribution go on without any disturbance or hindrance from any organization.
