Allegation of JMC Chairperson refuted

Jiribam, Apr 4: Nominee of  Jiribam 40 AC, MLA Md Ashab Udin, M Promen has refuted the allegation levelled against the mentioned MLA  in connection with the distribution of rice at Jiribam by the Chairperson of Jiribam Municipal Council (JMC), S Shanti Devi on media .
It may be mentioned that JMC's Chairperson had recently claimed that rice was distributed in only a few select places which fall under the jurisdiction of the said Council. She requested the Chief Minister to let the Council know if the rice provided by the local MLA was from the State Government or not. 
Speaking to media persons during a press meet held at the conference hall of Jiri News Network at Babupara, Jiribam, M Promen clarified that the rice was not provided by the State Government but bought by the MLA himself.
M Promen also appealed the Chief Minister N Biren Singh to provide all possible help to the public of Jiribam to tackle the challenges of COVID-19 crisis.
