The HRD Minister has re-cently updated that 3000 schools have been turned into evaluation centres for CBSE Board Exams 2020 and the process will be beginning tomorrow that is on May 10, 2020. The results would thus be available soon on the official website of CBSE. The board has also issued guidelines for the evaluation process.
Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Board Exam pending dates which would be commencing on July 1 and will continue till July 15. Recently the Board has informed that it would be starting with the evaluation process of all the finished papers of CBSE Board exam but it would only be done in green zones that are the areas which do not have a single case of COVID.
The CBSE issued a circular to all the chief nodal officers, the central supervisors, the head examiners regarding the evaluation process. The lockdown when announced deferred the evaluation work of CBSE. The board, however, had stopped the evaluation process on March 19 itself. Recently the Board accorded the permission to complete the evaluation of the pending answer sheets of the exams that have already been held.
The Board is equipped to take all precautions for the teachers and evaluators during the process to avoid the spread of COVID19. It has also been decided that the head examiners and the additional evaluators will also act as evaluators so that the process will be completed faster.
The Board has also said that the evaluation will begin in the green zones only. This way there will be the least risk to the evaluators and the teachers. Thus only corona free zones will be declared by the authorities to be the evaluation zones. The Chief Nodal Supervisors from each zone would be working with the local administration of each zone.
The nodal officers would be collecting the bags full of 200 answer sheets each and would be responsible for it. They would be responsible to arrange vehicles to transport the bags from residences of evaluators. They would also need to take a picture of the Aadhar Card, the PAN card and the school ID card before delivering the bag to the Board. The evaluators would have only 7 days to correct or evaluate the answer sheets in their possession. Times Now
