BJP lines up week-long awareness prog

IMPHAL, May 28: BJP Manipur Pradesh has lined up a week-long awareness programme on several development projects and welfare schemes launched in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in commemoration of the completion of first year of Modi’s second term.
Passage of Triple Talaq Bill, conversion of Ladakh as a Union Territory, passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill and securing Supreme Court’s permission for construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya  are counted as major achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s second term.
Speaking to media persons at their Nityaipat Chuthek office today, BJP Manipur Pradesh vice-president Jyotin Waikhom highlighted timely imposition of lockdown to combat COVID-19, announcement of an economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore and launching of Atmanirbhar Bharat as some other major achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jyotin Waikhom said that the week-long awareness programme would highlight the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the first year of his second term and social distancing norms would be strictly following while holding the programme.
The awareness programme would feature detailed documentation, video presentation, monitoring of Morcha activities, deliberation on Atmanirbhar Bharat, sharing of Government’s achievements through WhatsApp groups etc, Jyotin said. BJP Manipur Pradesh president K Bhabananda has also already constituted two committees to ensure that the week-long programme is held successfully. Notably, K Bhabananda has already completed four years as BJP Manipur Pradesh president and BJP was able to form Government in the State apart from sending BJP MPs to Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha during his tenure.
